Kastoria is located at the west end of northern Greece. The city unfolds amphitheatrically, 620m above sea level. It is built on a peninsula that penetrates Orestiada Lake, in the shade of the impressive mass of Grammos and Vitsi mountains.

Kastoria is world famous for its fur industry along with its great history and culture.

In Kastoria, the visitor can witness and admire important works of Byzantine art. Museums all over the city confess a passage from the history to the modern times of the city.

Travel information

From Aristotle International Airport at Argos Orestikon (12 km from the capital):
- There is a daily bus service via the Egnatia motorway.
- Andromeda is easily accessible as it is located in the downtown area.

By Taxi (from the airport):
- Take a taxi directly to Kastoria or a taxi to Argos Orestikon (3km) where there is a bus every half an hour.
- From the bus station you can either walk to the hotel - about 5 minutes' walk, or take a taxi.
