You could also go by boat from Acrotiri to the white beach. The ports of Rafina Piraeus and Heraklion serve Athinio, the port of Santorini, with daily routes. It is also convenient for visiting other islands of Cyclades (Paros, Naxos,) as well as Dodecanese, Crete and Northern Greece.
